| Description |
English: Futuristic view of New York, drawn at the beginning of the 20th century by Richard Rummel, published in 1911 on the cover of the American newspaper The Delineator. Rummel is an illustrator who is particularly known for his drawings and watercolors of urban views, university campuses and architecture. This drawing could have been inspired by those of Albert Robida or Louis Biderman (ex: prospective and futuristic view of New York in 1999, drawn a century earlier in 1899). Français : vue futuriste de New-York, dessinée au début du XXème siècle par Richard Rummel, publié en 1911 en couverture du journal américain The Delineator. Rummel est un illustrateur qui s'est notamment fait connaitre par ses dessins et aquarelles de vues urbaines, campus universitaires et architecturales. Ce dessin pourrait avoir été inspiré par ceux d'Albert Robida ou de Louis Biderman (ex : vue prospective et futuriste de New-York en 1999, dessiné un siècle plus tôt en 1899). |
